The quarying of slate has been a feature of life in the mountanous regions of north Wales. Whole communities sprang up around the slate quarries and generations of families have worked the quarries in towns such as Bethesda and Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Now you can have a gift in slate as a piece of the Welsh mountanside hand-crafted using traditional techniques to split the stone into narrow slices. We use the black slate from Blaenau Ffestiniog and hand-print on to them proud symbols of Wales, our Red Dragon and Daffodils, our national emblems, our National Anthem and intricate Celtic Designs.
All the items are hand-crafted by Welsh people in the north of Wales and make brilliant gifts for those of Welsh descent or those searching for really unusual gifts.
